Arman

Arman (1928–2005), born Armand Fernandez, is one of the great figures of Nouveau Réalisme. Born in Nice and based between France and New York, he turned the accumulation and fragmentation of everyday objects into a plastic language. His lithographs and sculptures — shattered violins, rhythmic accumulations — here enter into dialogue with Moroccan creation.
